The juniors are always an unknown based on them suddenly getting it 'right' or just having a growth spurt.

I pick Kristen or Darren as the most likely to improve by half a second. Is that enough?

2019/2020 Track Season

A little short on numbers at the end of last year. Hopefully lots of the regulars can polish the dust off and come down for some great racing and fun. We are lucky to have the best track race promoter and announcer to run our races. Looking forward to catching up with everyone tomorrow night. Hopefully the weather is kind.

All the roadies should get themselves a track bike. Always room for one more bike and they are heaps cheaper than roadies. Why should you race track?

List of the recent Australian Road Champions:

2010,2011, 2013, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 are all ex trackies. (only Gerrans wrecks the pattern. He probably secretly rode track)

Have a look how many pursuiters and team pursuiters have signed world tour contracts. Team pursuiters win the Tour de France (Wiggins and Thomas)

You dont have to do hill repeats to help your road and crit racing.

See you at the track!

2010 Travis Meyer
2011 Jack Bobridge
2012 Simon Gerrans
2013 Luke Durbridge
2014 Simon Gerrans
2015 Heinrich Haussler
2016 Jack Bobridge
2017 Miles Scotson
2018 Alexander Edmondson
2019 Michael Freiberg

Jarrod Drizners leading the NRS road series. Another ex trackie transitioning to the road and winning. Roadies need to get into the LBS and grab a track bike. If you want to go well on the road, ride track.

Cameron Meyer - Another track rider wins the Australian road championship. Sam Welsford won the criterium and you guessed it, another track rider. We need more people on a Wednesday night. Track racing is awesome.

It works for Elia Viviani.
