CCCC Coffee Ride (0630 TP, 0700 WGS) @ Terrigal Pub
May 26 @ 6:30 am – 9:00 am

Great ride to kick off your weekend!

2 starting points. Meet at Terrigal Pub 6.30am then ride to West Gosford Shops to meet rest of group. Leave WGS 7am.
Coffee back at Terrigal.

Optional extra 40kms doing North Loop through Wyong, Toukley and return. This ride extends after returning to WGS on the north bound leg from Ettalong. Pace is usually more than a regular coffee ride. Check with ride leader if you’re not sure, the bailout option is to turn right at Wyong Rd to head back early.

All riders must hold a current CA licence. If it’s your first club ride please announce yourself to the ride leader.

Distance: 60kms (or the full “Coffee 100”)
Pace: Moderate (average approx. 30 km/h)
No attacks, regroup after hills and bunch splits etc.

CA Membership is required for insurance reasons.

CCCC CX Race @ Matcham Pony Club

8.00-8.45am – Sign on and course practice.
9.00am – Men’s, Womens, Masters A and B grade – (Cyclocross bikes only)
A – 40mins, B and Masters – 35mins, Women -30mins.
9.55am – Kids Participation Ride on a modified course – 15mins (any bike)
10.20am – Open Ride for Men, Women,Masters, U19’s – 30 mins (any bike)
11.15am – Prize Presentation.

Race Fees
Online entry cost is $15. If you enter on the day it’ll be $20 in cash.
If the race is cancelled due to weather, all online entries will be refunded.

We have a fantastic 1.8km off-road course featuring gravel, dirt, sand and woodland riding.

The smaller and safer course for the under 13’s features a small part of the big course and is adapted to cater for the abilities of riders new to the sport. Parents are more than welcome to accompany their child around the course if they want.

We cater for all abilities of rider from newcomers, kids from 3 yrs old, right up to some of the country’s best cyclocross riders. Families are particularly welcome at the club and can expect to enjoy a fun-filled morning with riding for the whole family!

Disc Brakes: – Disc brakes have been approved for racing by Cycling Australia.

No License, No Race: – Riders need a current license (or proof of renewal) to race. CA licenses only. Licences may be checked at any time so to make sure you can race, BRING your licence (physical or digital version) with you to every race.

New to Racing: – 3 Race Licenses are accepted. Please ensure you have organised this with a club or online via Cycling Australia prior to race day. See Cycling Australia Memberships Page for more information.

On-the-day Entries: – Riders are encouraged to pre-enter as it helps with race organisation logistics. On-the-day entries are accepted if space & time permits. Please arrive early if after an on-the-day entry.

Race Briefing: – Riders MUST be at the start line 5 minutes before allocated start time for the Commissaires instructions.

Announcements: – Please check the club website or Facebook for any announcements regarding racing.

Safety: – All competitors are reminded that road cycle racing can be considered a dangerous sport, and whilst all reasonable care is taken by the race organizers and officials when organizing this event, all participating cyclists have an equal responsibility to ensure they take all reasonable care by adhering to the road rules and any other conditions imposed by Police and/or officials ensuring a safe race environment for all concerned. Please refer to our Club specific Racing Rules on our website for further information.

The Chop is weekly. Meet at 6am at Forries Bus Stop as shown on map below.

Easy ride to The Entrance, then grouped by ability for the handicapped chop to Budgewoi and back.

This ride is for Experienced Riders, not new riders, please be aware that it is very fast, race paced in sections and you need to be well aware of the road conditions and effort required. Fast bunch riding experience a MUST.

There is a re-group back at The Entrance afterwards for an easy ride back to Forresters Beach for coffee (di Matteos).

Distance: 55kms +
Pace: Very Fast

CA Membership (MTBA or BNSW insurance also acceptable) is required for insurance reasons.

Includes a women’s development race in the first session. Please make contact in advance if this is your first race so we can arrange support.

6:45 sign-on desk opens
7:10 race start time for grades D to F + women’s development race
7:45 race start time for grades A, B & C

Online entry cost is $15, day of race is $20 at he desk. If the race is cancelled owing to weather, all online entries will be refunded.

To support families with junior riders, CCCC also offers the following:
Juniors under 19 years ride for FREE and race for the podium – no prize money.

All riders are required to wear CNSW registered kit.
If you are new to your club and waiting on delivery of club kit, a plain white or black jersey can be worn.

Trailer tow and assistants should be there by 6.15am at the latest please! All other roles by 6.45am in order to get racing started on time.

Group riding to the race, times are: 6.30 from Terrigal Pub, 6.40 Forries Bus Stop. Gets to UON by 7.15am.
